Finding carports that contain storage is not difficult; there are a good many companies that make such carports and you can get either a canopy or metal carport with storage.  While canopy carports are the cheapest and also the easiest to set up yourself, you should keep in mind that the canopy has to be replaced every five years or so; you may find it less work in the end, and less expensive, to get a metal carport, even though the initial costs are higher than a canopy carport.

It is important when getting a carport to have the exact measurements down as far as what size carport you will need as well as how much room you have on your property for it.  It also helps to know how much space you need when it comes to the size of the carport’s storage space and how much space you need for a vehicle, or vehicles, if that is what you are also getting the carport for.  Keep in mind when checking out the measurements for a carport when you shop that that the measurements given are the roof measurements and not the ground ones.
