Converting a carport into a garage is an easily manageable project assuming that the carport is in good shape. The plywood sheets should be leaned on the wall and should be nailed properly on the wooden structure. To avoid gaps between plywood, join each plywood sheets with the other, and this procedure is continued until it covers the entire wall except the door.
Next step is deciding the garage door. For this, a person could take the help from the professionals and built the door for the new garage. Professional help is needed because some doors need crane like equipment to set up.
The final step is rolling the insulation material on the garage interior between the studs and stapling it on the right place. Then, it’s up to the taste of a person to paint a wall, or hang dry wall, or leave as it is. These simple instructions will surely guide a person to convert carport into garage.
