An easy way to shop for a carport with storage is to search online; you can Google either ‘carport with shed’ or ‘shed carport’ and you will get a large number of companies that sell these and other types of carports in many different sizes and made from different materials as well.  There are carports, such as prefab shed carports, that you can put up yourself with the right tools and by following the instructions provided, or you can hire a contractor to come and set up your newly purchased carports, sheds, and other shelters for you.  Another option is to hire the contractor to come out and build the shelter from scratch, but this is quite a bit more expensive.

If you are looking for a storage shelter that will last a long time and will be able to handle all kinds of inclement weather, then an enclosed steel carport would be a good idea, especially if you live in an area that snows for winter.  You can find some carports and sheds made from galvanized steel that come with 20-year warranties; check the warranty to see what the fine print is to know exactly how much it covers.  All in all, however, steel carport sheds are about the strongest and most durable you can get. Although, if you are simply looking for something to cover a vehicle and stored items from too much sun and a bit of rain now and then, a canopy carport shed is quite a bit cheaper and it is the easiest to have installed as well.
